# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It’s the closest you’ll get to sipping summer in a glass, with no need for alcohol.
  • Leftover watermelon finally has a glamorous reason to shine in your blender.
02 -
  • Once, I tossed in whole sprigs of mint instead of just the leaves, and the result was oddly bitter—always strip the leaves from the stems.
  • Realizing the importance of freezing the fruit separately saved me from wrestling with one giant, pink fruit brick.
03 -
  • If your blender protests, add juice in small splashes—don’t force too much at once or it’ll seize up.
  • Clapping the mint before adding it is easy to forget, but turns the aroma up to eleven every time.
